Day 13 - Saturday 14 April 2018

Cruise Day 13 - Bora Bora, French Polynesia

A beautiful, blue sky day on this idyllic island - our world favourite!

Di, Paul & Lynaire opted for a lazy day on the island's only public beach - Matira, where they had a delicious lunch (and Bill dropped in).

Bill opted for a wonderful small boat tour around the islands and lagoon. There were several stops for snorkelling with the stingrays (including a 'cuddle'), black tip sharks and tropical fish.

Before returning to the ship, we visited the local village, where Di was entertained by the locals.

In the evening, we enjoyed watching the Cats defeat the Saints, live on television.

Day 12 - Friday 13 April 2018

Cruise Day 12 - Moorea, French Polynesia

A tropical rainy day, but we had fun.

First, we successfully negotiated a choppy tender ride from ship to the pier.

After considering our weather-effected options, we decided on getting a taxi to the nearby Hotel Les Tipaniers, where we had lunch and spent a few enjoyable hours.

In the afternoon, we returned to the pier by 'taxi', and back to ship by tender.

The evening's show was a Freddie Mercury tribute artist.
