London - Day 8

Another day, walking around London Town.

Anthropologie (shop)

Di caught up with her friend Elias.

Trafalgar Square (with the Climate protesters).

Piccadilly Circus.

Leicester Square.

Shaftesbury Avenue.

Golden Square.

Covent Garden.

Seven Dials.

Soho (tiny diner).

Charing Cross Road.

Buckingham Palace Road.

The Royal Residence.

Green Park.

Wellington Arch.

Park Lane.

South Audley St, Mayfair.

A rest with a week's sugar hit!

Oxford Street.

Closed after all these years - sad.

S Molton St, Mayfair.

Carnaby Street, Soho.

Day 8 - Monday 7 October

London - Day 7

In the morning, Colin drove us, via Bushy Park, to our hotel for the next two nights - https://www.millenniumhotels.com/en/london/millennium-gloucester-hotel-london-kensington .

Following our check-in, Di walked to the nearby V&A Museum for the - https://www.vam.ac.uk/exhibitions/mary-quant .

Bill caught the tube to Canary Wharf,

and then went to the - https://www.museumoflondon.org.uk/museum-london-docklands .

In the late afternoon, we both did some shopping in Oxford Street.

We then returned to our hotel, via the nearby - https://paramountlebanesekitchen.co.uk/ .

Day 7 - Sunday 6 October

London - Day 6

A lovely day with Markhams, starting with a Big Breakfast.

We then went to visit Colin & Jo's middle son, Phillip & his wife, Gabby (no photo).

Next we visited Colin & Jo's eldest son, Jeremy, & his partner, Holly (again no photo).

We then went to the Addlestone cinema, to watch

Then it was back to Colin & Jo's for a delicious dinner.

Day 6 - Saturday 5 October

London - Day 5

We were picked up by Colin & Jo.

Di & Jo caught the train to London city and went shopping.

Next stop was - https://www.hevercastle.co.uk/ .

In the evening, we were joined by Colin & Jo's son, William, for dinner at - https://www.theminnow.co.uk .

Day 5 - Friday 4 October

London - Day 4.

In the morning we had a walk in Wimbledon Common.

We then had coffee/hot chocolate at -windmilltearooms.com .

Next was shopping in Wimbledon Village.

In the evening, we were joined by Carol & Peter's son, Ollie, and his girlfriend, Kim, for a lovely dinner at - http://babylon76-78.co.uk/#!/-welcome-2/ .
