Day 1 of 8 Ireland.
After arriving in the evening at Shannon Airport, County Clare, Ireland, we (Bill, Di & Jo) picked up our rental car and drove to our rented cottage, near the village of Ardagh, County Limerick.
Day 2 of 8 Ireland.
We departed our cottage for our long driving day to the beautiful south-west coastline of County Kerry.
Our first stop was at the town of Killarney, where we visited St. Mary's Cathedral.
We then drove clockwise around the beautiful - http://www.theringofkerry.com/ .
We looked around the lovely Park Hotel, Kenmare.
We then drove clockwise around the equally beautiful - https://www.dingle-peninsula.ie/ .
We then stopped to have dinner in the town of Tralee, before driving back to our cottage.
Day 3 of 8 Ireland.
We departed our cottage for our driving day to the south in County Cork.
Our first stop was at - http://www.blarneycastle.ie/ , where we kissed the "Stone".
Our next stop was at the beautiful seaside town of Kinsale, with its Charles Fort.
On our way back to our cottage, we stopped to walk around Ireland's third largest city, Cork.
Day 4 of 8 Ireland /Northern Ireland.
A long driving day, through central Ireland, to Northern Ireland.
We stopped to walk around the amazing - http://www.giantscausewayofficialguide.com/ , in County Antrim, NI.
Next, we drove south, to the city of Belfast, NI, where we spent the late afternoon and evening strolling around, and staying overnight.
Day 5 of 8 Ireland.
We then drove further east, to the city of Limerick, where we visited the interesting - http://www.huntmuseum.com/ , and - https://www.shannonheritage.com/KingJohnsCastle/ .
We then drove west to Shannon Airport, for our flight back to Stansted Airport, England.

This morning we drove north to the city of Galway, in County Gallway, which we explored for the day.
We then drove south, to the town of Ennis, in County Clare, where we visited Jo's sister, Clare and her family. We then returned to our cottage.
Day 7 of 8 Ireland.
In the morning, we drove west, to Tarbert, where we boarded the ferry, to cross the Shannon Estuary, and then drive north in County Clare.
We arrived at the spectacular https://www.cliffsofmoher.ie/ , where we followed several walks.
We then stopped at - http://www.bunratty.ie/ , before returning to our cottage..
Day 8 of 8 Ireland.
On our final day in Ireland, we drove east, to Adare, which is often touted as Ireland's prettiest village, where we wandered around (including the beautiful - http://www.adaremanor.com/ ) .
This morning we drove north to the city of Galway, in County Gallway, which we explored for the day.
We then drove south, to the town of Ennis, in County Clare, where we visited Jo's sister, Clare and her family. We then returned to our cottage.
