Bank (public) Holiday, raining, overcast.

Mad Dogs and Englishmen (the Markham Clan) and a Taff and an Aussie, playing golf.

We had brunch with Carol, Pete & their son, Oliver, at the - http://absoluteabode.com/cafe/ - in Raynes Park.


Colin then picked us up and transferred the nomads back to his & Jo's home in Weybridge. In the evening, we were joined for dinner by their eldest son, Jeremy and Holly.

We had brunch with the Leeden family at Cinnamon in Pitshangar Lane.


Trev then drove us from Ealing to Raynes Park.


We then had dinner with Carol & Pete.

A very pleasant summer's day.

In the afternoon, Laurie guided Joan, Pete & us on a very informative tour of the City.

After strolling through Carnaby Street and Soho we had dinner at the Compton Street institution - Stockpot.

A mostly non-raining summer's day!


We met our friends, Pete & Joan, for coffee in Knightsbridge. We then wandered around Harrod's, before lunching at - http://www.ottolenghi.co.uk - in Belgravia.





We then strolled around Mayfair & St James, then Bill, Pete & Joan went to the very interesting - http://www.iwm.org.uk/visits/churchill-war-rooms .









 On the way to meeting Laurie & Di, Bill had his paprazzi moment as he walked passed the opening of the play 'McQueen'.



We then went for an amazing dinner at - http://www.inamo-stjames.com/ .




Before heading back to Ealing, we walked through Covent Garden to see the interesting - http://www.coventgarden.uk.com/whats-on-news/heartbeat-installation.
