Day 37 - Friday 31 May

After a two hour drive from the USA, we arrived this afternoon in the beautiful and friendly French-speaking city of Montreal (Canada), where they are experiencing above normal hot weather. We had dinner in a lovely French restaurant, L'Acadamie - http://www.lacademie.ca/ - where you might have guessed, Bill ate duck!

Day 36 - Thursday 30 May

Another leisurely driving day, heading north through upper New York state's beautiful Adirondack Mountains, where we spent the afternoon in the pretty town of Saratoga Springs, popular for its mineral springs, horses and ducks.

Day 33 - Monday 27 May

In the morning we toured Kentuck Knob, another Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house, and the Sculpture Garden in its grounds  - http://kentuckknobs.com/ .

Next we tour Fallingwater, Frank Lloyd Wright's most widely acclaimed work, which is considered to be the best all-time work of American architecture - http://www.fallingwater.org/ .

We then head off on another drive through the Laurel Highlands.

To conclude the day, being Memorial Day, we thought it fitting to pay our respects at the Flight 93 National Memorial - http://www.nps.gov/flni/index.htm .
