After breakfast we were picked up and driven for over an hour, by Mafios then by Matthew, via the Zimbabwe/Botswana border, to Chobe Safari Lodge. During this drive we saw several birds and animals, including a herd of sable antelopes (too quick for this slow photographer).

We were met by Lebs, who was our captain and guide for a wonderful 3 hour cruise on the Chobe River - we were the only passengers. We saw several birds and animals.

Nb. whilst observing the lionesses, the safari vehicle stopped running, requiring Will to get out, lift the bonnet, and fortunately get the vehicle running again. During this time a lioness was observed licking her lips!

We then returned to the Botswana/Zimbabwe border and driven back to the Victoria Falls Hotel by Mafios, with some more animal sightings along the way.
