Palm Cove – Cape Tribulation – Port Douglas, Far North

An early morning start, as we drove north along the scenic
Captain Cook Highway (the Great Barrier Reef Drive), through the Daintree
National Park, to Cape Tribulation.
Around midday, we drove south, and dropped into the
picturesque Port Douglas, where we had lunch at “Lotus Leaf Asian Salads”.
Di then went shopping, whilst Bill went to 4 Mile Beach.
We then had a look around Port Douglas.
We had a delicious seafood dinner at – www.ontheinlet.com.au – for the last
operating day at its scenic location.
We then drove back to Palm Cove in the evening.
