We drove north along Route 66 from St Louis to Springfield (the capital of Illinois), where we visited another wonderful Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house - http://www.dana-thomas.org/, the State Capitol Building and Abraham Lincoln's home, before returning to St Louis to indulge in some frozen custard at a Route 66 attraction - http://www.teddrewes.com/home/default.aspx .
