Melbourne - Singapore
This morning we set off for what was to be the start of a 5-month holiday, beginning with a flight to Singapore.
With the growing global "Coronavirus" crisis, Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport was extremely quiet.
Our Scoot flight didn't have many passengers.
Singapore's Changi Airport was also extremely quiet.
The freeway from Changi to the city had very few vehicles on it.
We arrived at our hotel, which also wasn't busy.
After checking-in, we rang Bill's sister, Elsa, who informed us that she had been contacted by our cruise company, Costa, to advise that our intended 30-day cruise to Italy had been cancelled.
