Singapore - Day 2
Our plans had obviously changed.
First, we visited the offices of Emirates Airlines, to arrange our flight home, for Wednesday.
Next, we visited the offices of Singapore Airlines, to submit our claim for the cancellation of our Rome-Singapore flight (in May).
After lunch, we then took the opportunity to walk along a very quiet Orchard Road.
We then caught the MRT (train) to the fabulous Changi Jewel - https://www.jewelchangiairport.com/ , with its 40-metre-high Rain Vortex (the world's largest indoor waterfall) and its Forest Valley.
Not very many people in this great shopping centre.
The lower part of the Rain Vortex.
The Canopy Park, with its Topiary Walk.
The MRT back to our hotel - not difficult to find a seat.
Our nearby Bugis Street Market.
