We drove east to Badlands National Park, then drove the scenic route through it, before lunching at Wall Drug, a very large general store.
We then drove west, stopped at Di's favourite store, before visiting Mount Rushmore, which is in the beautiful Black Hills.
We then drove on Iron Mountain Road through more of the Black Hills, before again staying the night in Hill City.
Fabo! Can't believe it took you so long to visit the best part of the US - not that I've been! Surely you've replaced 'Walt' with a 10-gallon Stetson by now???
