Day 67 - Tuesday 17 June

This morning we drove to and looked around Des Moines' grand Capitol building. We then went on a trolley ride around downtown. We then drove to the Art Center, but unfortunately it was closed due to the prior night's storm.

We then drove south for almost 3 hours, before arriving in Kansas City, in the state of Missouri. We quickly visited the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, and stopped for a photo of the nearby Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. We then quickly drove around Downtown, before dining in the Country Club Plaza district at - www.classiccup.com .
