Day 68 – Friday 28 April

Melbourne, Australia - Home, again.

The highlights of this trip were:

1. catching up with great friends and family, namely (in chronological order):

- Jo & Colin, in Provence, France, and in London, along with Jeremy & Holly, Phillip & Gabby, Camilla and William,

- Trev, Katharine, Aimee & Liam, in London,

- Robyn & Laurie, in London,

- Elias, in London,

- Sue & Alan, in London,

- Annie & Russell, in London,

- Bob & Tony, in London,

- Keith, in London,

- Bob, in London,

- our niece, Annie, Jon & Ben, in London,

- Carol, Pete & Ollie, in London,

- Di’s brother, Alan, Jayne, Steve, Tish & Emilia, in London

2. making new friends, on our Brisbane to Barcelona cruise:

- Chrissie & Ray,

- Annette

3A. our 35-day Brisbane to Barcelona cruise, which included interesting stops in Cairns, Darwin, Singapore, Penang, Cochin, Mumbai, Dubai, via the Suez Canal, Athens, and Malta,

3B. our 7-day stay in Barcelona,

3C. our 7-day stay in Avignon, Provence, France, spent with Jo & Colin, with day trips to Orange, Pont du Gard, Arles, St. Remy-en-Provence, Aix-en-Provence, and Nimes,

3D. our 20-day stay in London.

Another wonderful holiday.

Day 67 – Thursday 27 April

London, U.K. (Day 20 of 20).

Always sad to say farewells. Colin drove us to Heathrow for our afternoon flight, to Dubai, then Melbourne.

Day 66 – Wednesday 26 April

London, U.K. (Day 19 of 20).

In the morning, Colin came over to Trevor & Katharine’s home, and we went for lunch at - http://www.ourlittlecake.co.uk/ .

Colin then drove us to Kingston, where he dropped off Di, who met Jo, for some last day’s shopping.

We then had our farewell dinner with Jo, Colin, William, Phillip & Gabby, in Weybridge.

Day 65 – Tuesday 25 April

London, U.K. (Day 18 of 20).

This morning, we caught a bus back to Clapham, where we had a lovely brunch with our niece, Anna, her son, Ben, our nephew Steve’s wife, Tish, and her daughter, Emilia, Di’s brother, Alan, and his wife, Jayne.

After returning to Sloane Gardens and farewelling Laurie, Trev picked us up, and drove us back to his home in Ealing. In the evening, we went with Aimee and Liam, to his local - http://paolos.co.uk/ , where the host, Stefano, provided us with a delicious Italian dinner.

Day 64 – Monday 24 April

London, U.K. (Day 17 of 20).

We met Trevor, then caught the bus to Mayfair, where we went to the - https://handelhendrix.org/ .

Bill then went to the Hard Rock Café to visit the Vault, but unfortunately it was closed due to filming.

Bill then walked along Piccadilly, before catching a bus to Goodge Street, where he looked in Heal’s Furniture Store, He then caught a bus back to Sloane Gardens.

We then both caught a bus to Clapham, and caught up agin with our niece, Anna, Her husband Jon, and their son, Ben. Anna then drove us to Dulwich, where we had dinner with our nephew, Steve, his wife, Tish, and their daughter, Emilia (asleep), and Di’s brother, Alan and his wife, Jayne.
