Cruise Day 40.
French Polynesia (3 of 3).
This morning we sailed to the beautiful island of Bora Bora (also one of the Society Islands), and were tendered to the village of Vaitape.
We decided upon a tour around the island with the entertaining Christie.
We stopped at one of the island's Protestant Churches and met the locals.
We then stopped at one of Christie's family's properties, where she explained the family graves in the front of properties.
Next stop was at the renovated Royal Bora Bora Hotel.
We then caught the local bus to Bloody Mary's for another lunch of Poisson Cru Coco.
We then caught a mini-bus back to Vaitape for our tender back to our ship.

Our next stop was at Matira Beach (the only public beach on Bora Bora - the rest are owned by the hotels), where we stayed to swim and snorkel.
