Day 79 - Friday 12 July


Another day full of various interesting sights (all in New Mexico).

We drove south from Santa Fe along the Turquoise Trail Scenic Byway, stopping in Madrid (where "Wild Hogs" was filmed - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486946/).

 
 
 
Next stop was outside of Albuquerque , at Sandia Peak, where we rode on the "World's Longest Aerial Tramway" - http://www.sandiapeak.com/ .


 
 
 
 

We then located the carwash that is used in "Breaking Bad" to launder the cash!


Next we drove down Albuquerque's Central Avenue, which has countless Route 66 landmarks.



 
 
 
And if Johnny Depp, Sam Mendez and Luc Longley have all bought hats at - http://manshatshop.com/home/ , so can Bill.


We then headed west, stopping in a flash thunderstorm at the Continental Divide, then overnighting in Gallup (New Mexico).

    Am I supposed to spot the road kill in all the black top shots?? I reckon I'll have to find that motel one day - I should get complimentary accom! And I can't believe you bought a Heisenberger hat and passed up the gen-u-wine COONSKIN!!!You need to check your priorities Skullo - nice T-shirt btw...
