Day 81 - Sunday 14 July

This  morning we departed Tuba City, diving EAST through mid-Arizona, back to Gallup (New Mexico) to resume our Route 66 journey.

 

 

 

During the afternoon, we took a side trip driving through the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park - http://www.nps.gov/pefo/index.htm .

 

 

 

Back on Route 66, we stopped for some more interesting signs and exhibits.

 

 

 

 

 

And then in Winslow Arizona, we stopped to "Take It Easy".

 

 

We then drove onto Flagstaff Arizona, where we overnighted.
