Day 82 - Monday 15 July

The morning began with a drive around Flagstaff, and a few stops for some Route 66 attractions.

We then decided to take a side trip (thanks to our new friends Doug and Peg) to nearby Sedona. What a spectacular drive to this lovely town - http://azstateparks.com/Parks/RERO/.

We then continued on a 4WD up the mountainside to Schnebly Hill for an amazing vista.

We then returned to Flagstaff and continued our westward Route 66 journey, stopping at the quirky town of Seligman (Arizona), then arriving at Kingman (Arizona) to have dinner and overnight.

  1. Love Sedona. We ate rattlesnake there. Did you make it to Montezuma's cave houses?

  2. We thought about adding Mch and FLW in Scottsdale, but the 4WD to SH was far more challenging and time consuming than planned.
