New Orleans - Day 10
Jazz & Heritage Musical Festival - Day 6
Another overcast day, but warm, humid with a couple of sprinkles of rain.
Di and Bronwyn spent the day shopping, whilst Bill walked to the Festival, via Louis Armstrong Park.
A good start to the Music day, with some great vocals by Warren Storm, T.K. Hulin & Gregg Martinez, with Wille Tee and the Cypress Band:
Next was a Walter Trout:
Next some songs by Better Than Ezra:
Then a fabulous performance of some of New Orleans's Classic R & B Legends, supported by Bobby Cure & the Poppa Stoppas, starting with Al "Carnival Time" Johnson:
Then Wanda Rouzon:
Then Clarence "Frogman" Henry:
And finally, the Dixie Cups:
Next some songs by Deacon John:
And today's finale was great Rock 'N' Roll show by Aerosmith, headlined by the Toxic Twins, Steve Tyler & Joe Perry:
We had a lovely African dinner at - http://www.frenchquarter.com/nola/bennachin-restaurant/6490/ .
