New Orleans - Day 5
Another lovely sunny, blue sky day.
This morning, Lee & Mary-Anne drove us 2 hours south of New Orleans to the southermost point of Louisianna. We've now been to the source of the Missouri River, near Three Forks, Montana; the source of the Mississippi River, at Lake Itasca, Minnesota; where the Missouri River merges with the Mississippi River, near St Louis, Missouri; and now to where the Mississippi River flows into the Gulf of Mexico!
We had an early seafood lunch at - http://www.venicemarina.com/restaurant.htmlVenice .
After returning to New Orleans in the afternoon, Di went shopping, and Bill & Lee went to the interesting - https://www.nationalww2museum.org/ .
In the evening, the Gang (Trev, Bronwyn, Paul, Lee, Mary Ann, Aimee) met at our condo, then we went for another good dinner, this time at - http://emerilsrestaurants.com/meril .
