New Orleans - Galveston, Texas.
This morning we said goodbye to our condo, picked up our rental car, and drove 400 miles to our next stop - Galveston.
It was another lovely day as we drove over and through swaps and bayous.
Once we crossed from Louisianna into Texas, we dropped into the Visitors Center, where we walked along the boardwalk, and observed an alligator and a snake below.
We drove along the Bolivar Peninsula, and then boarded the car ferry to Galveston.
After checking into our hotel we had a delicious Italian dinner at the nearby Grotto restaurant - http://www.sanluisresort.com/restaurants.asp .
