Day 25 - Friday 19 June

We started the morning with a photo of Di in front of the S-Printing Horse, supposedly the world's largest horse sculpture (opposite Heidelberg railway station).

We then went on an informative tour of Heidelberger Schloss (Heidelberg Palace/Castle), supposedly the world's most visited castle ruins.

Next we boarded the MS Europa for a pleasant 90 minute cruise up the River Neckar to Neckarsteinach.

We returned to Heidelberg, then drove east for 90 minutes to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, on the crossroads of both the Burgenstrasse (Castle Road) and Romantische Strasse (Romantic Road). We had time for an evening stroll and dinner in this fairy tale town. Di was like a kid in a candy store - the Christmas Museum is tomorrow.
