First stop was 4 kilometres across the German border, in the Austrian village of ,,,,,,
The next stop was 60 kilometres south of Salzburg, to the World's largest ice cave, Eisriesenwelt. Whilst the scenery along the approach to the cave, which involved driving, walking, a cable car, and more walking was spectacular, the caves themselves involve a kilometre of walking up and down steps, and as expected for a David Attenborough recommendation, were amazing.
We then continued driving south about 150 kilometres, including along on the High Alpine Road to Grossglockner, the highest Austrian mountain - great driving experience and spectacular.
