Day 22 - Saturday 3 May


This morning we arrived on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, in the port town of Nawiliwili - what a great day in this tropical paradise!

First we found the best tour guide /driver, Bill (2), and then shared the tour with fellow passengers, Jeff & Maureen Dunne.

Our main destination was the Waimea Canyon,  which was spectacular. We drove past Mount Waialeale, which is the second wettest place on earth, as well as along the beautiful south coast, and stopped at several big movie locations.

    Jeez, that hammock's taking a pounding!

    Where's ya bin? Are you in a giant rowboat - expected you to be rubbing noses with eskimos by now.
