After collecting our rental car, we walked to Pike Place Market and had a delicious lunch at - eatatlowells.com.
The rest of the day was spent walking around the city - Di in the retail sector, and Bill, firstly through the waterfront's Sculptured Park, then the Seattle Centre, where the Space needle is located, and this week held the Northwest Folklife Festival.
After catching the monorail, Bill then walked through the Pioneer Square area, which included the closed Waterfall Garden Park (birthplace of UPS).
We overnighted in Seattle.
