Day 36 - Saturday 17 May

Fortunately we weren't sleepless in Seattle, though we arose early to go to Pike Place Market, where there were great displays of flowers and seafood, the original Starbucks, and the disgusting Wall of Gum.

We then visited nearby SAM's shop (Seattle Art Museum) and John Fluevog's shoe shop.

Early afternoon we boarded the Golden Princess - www.princess.com/learn/ships/np/ - (our home for the next 8 days of cruising Alaska), and we departed Seattle a few hours later.
