Day 33 - Wednesday 14 May

We drove west upon the aptly named "Over the Rivers and Through the Woods" Scenic Byway, with snow capped mountains around us.

We stopped for lunch in Oregon's capital city, Salem, and visited their Capitol Building.

Next stop was Silverton, where we visited Gordon House, the only Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house in the NW of the US, that is open to the public.

We then drove north to Portland for some retail therapy, and where we stayed overnight.
