We commenced the day (rain, snow and cold) by travelling by bus from the Alaskan town of Skagway, along the Klondike Highway, via the Canadian territory of British Columbia, to the Canadian territory of Yukon (by which time the sun had emerged).
We had lunch in Cariboo Crossing, Yukon, which had a museum, which included stuffed animals, and a farm, which included huskies.
We also stopped for photos at Yukon's Carcross township, Bove Island and Bennett (near which we saw a black bear by the roadside), and Fraser, BC, where we boarded the White Pass & Yukon Route train, which claims to be "the scenic railway of the world".
